Americans only btw (sorry europoors) back to the breadlines you broke niggas go
There's something called the "American Opportunity Tax Credit" basically it's tax credits for people that aren't lazy fucks and educate themselves, ye? But certificates count as "educating yourself" and any expenses you put towards bettering your life counts... so, of course, you needed that new gaming laptop to learn, eh? The max for this is $2500 and any certificate counts, honestly, they don't even verify this shit but you should get a cheap Microsoft certificate anyways because you shouldn't do illegal shit with the taxman. You can use this multiple years in a row, I believe a max of 3 years.

I like free stuff as much as the next person but... What would you do with a Microsoft Word Certificate?

Holy shit. That so op. I love free money. I think imma do this. THanks bro
I've gotten several Microsoft certificates while being in school to the point where I'm master certified where do I get these credits at
I was thinking of getting CCNA anyways thanks for the information will put it towards my taxes. GGwp
Blessings <3
Make sure to actually get a credential and any tax forms that come with it (AND SAVE THEM AFTER YOUR TAXES). The IRS requires full payback + interest if you are rewarded the AOTC by error. I'm assuming this wouldn't happen unless you're audited but still, worth covering your ass in case you insta-spend that 2k
If you're going to get your CCNA, I'd just recommend outright signing up for an online college and getting a pell grant to pay for it. Basically, if you're under a certain income bracket (or your parents, if you're a dependent) you get rewarded $6500 per year for college. Because online colleges are generally cheap, if you find a college UNDER $6500/year (that includes CCNA cert) any extra cash is delivered to your bank account. I recommend Western Governor University.

One year at WGU is $6450, pell grant covers it all. Then use this tip to buy a car or gaming computer, I dunno, it's a waste of money though to pay for a cert when you can get a cert+degree for free.
