Haven't checked in a while, but I think it's safe to say that they are indeed unsalted. That's not really a problem anyway, since you're granted full ACP access just by creating a user-level session in the administrator's account. (Whereas in IPB you need to create an admin session in the ACP, and the only way to do that [without SQL injection] is to use the password.)(It's seriously spaghetti code, I wouldn't be suprised if they were using unsalted hashes)
