If you're talking about the community funding for IM before I came back, I have no idea. I wasn't around for that.

If you're talking about my responsibilities, there was no community funding for IM. Some things were worked on for IM (Web, Mobile UI Apps) but those were from funding provided by Jov. Not much further work has been done on those since then since they're not the current priority. Also, the work requires Dave to finish updating the backend of IM first since things will likely change.

I briefly brought up IM recently when talking to Dave, seems like it's not really something that's going to happen until after the upgrade. For the upgrade, we're currently waiting on new hardware for servers and then for Dave to get time to do the transition.

There are upgrades needed all around the board. The first thing we're gonna start with is the forum and site itself, which includes the software, functionality, and direction. After that, we'll take a closer look at IM and the Marketplace. Once everything is ready the traffic shouldn't be much of an issue to get back.

Shutting down IM whatsoever and allowing third parties like D1scord ? You can literally link your D1scord Account no matter how you can change your nickname, your unique id is the same, unless you destroy account. Not really big deal.


Allow sellers editing their threads without asking for editing or whatever. The longer you are onsite + more posts + subscription, the longer the edit span should be.


This could bring traffic back but idk, I think it will slowly die out or something.
