They're both safe. External BoxESP 4.3 is currently being updated by Archangel so for the moment v5.0 is probably 0.01% more safer.

As useless as this may be, python hack by nature is going to be slightly safer, to what percentage or degree is unknown, but since python is JIT, and we have a module spoofer, as well as the code is run in a Virtual Machine, it adds 2 layers of security that other hacks do not have.
