How To Completely Remove A Virus

Hello everyone. In this tutorial, I'll be showing you how to completely remove a virus. There are different kinds of techniques to remove a virus completely. I'll be showing you two ways. One requires to spend about $80 and one requires to download a scanner (it's free).

Here's one way to remove a virus (spending money):

1. To remove a virus completely, you're going to have to upgrade your computer. To do that, you'll need $40 or more (I recommend $80). If you live in the United States, buy a Windows 7 upgrade at Best Buy. After you buy the disc, put it in your computer and let it upgrade. Congratulations, your computer type is now brand new and virus free!

This one, you'll have to download a virus scanner (it's free):

1. You're gonna want a good scanner that removes a virus. Tired of using a scanner that scans and makes you pay to remove it? Here is a scanner that I use all the time and removes your virus for free! Here's the site to download it: Malwarebytes
Click the button that says "Download Free Version." You'll be directed to a site called "Major Geeks." Under the download locations, click the first one. The save file thing should come up after a few seconds, click save file. Once it's done saving, go to where you saved it and open it. Click run, choose your language then click ok. Click next, click I accept the agreement and click next. Click next, click next, click next (you can check create a start menu folder if you want), click next, click install. Once you're done with that, open the scanner and perform a full scan. It'll ask you what drives you want to scan, check the ones you want to scan. After the scan has completed, there should be a button saying remove selected infections and it'll ask if you want to restart your computer now or later (it's your decision).

That is the end of this tutorial. Enjoy your clean computer.

Lool. Your funny. Instead of doing all that and wasting money and getting a anti-spyware not anti-virus you can do this. Yes this is the different technique that he mentions above

Don't Spend money:
Go get uttorent.
Go to a website that uses torrent, I cannot give you the link but it has demon in it.
In the website type in NOD 32 Antivirus or Kaspersky Antivirus.
Scroll down and pick one, read the comments to make sure it's not fake.
Download.
Install.
Your done....

I used system recovery and worked fine

Why not just get Malwarebytes or Spybot S&D. would be much faster.

Well, poor people can't do the first step (like you), you can just system restore.

I'm going to try out the Malwarebytes since my computer has been getting raped by some virus lately. I'll let you know if it helps or not.

EDIT: Good lord, 20 seconds in and it's already found 133 infected files, does this thing pick up false positives because it just keeps on growing and growing..

Nahhh, faulty download from some D-bag at another forum. Then again my cousin does tend to lock the door when he comes to get on the computer. O.o
