    Damn C++ wont install/download for me

    when i get about to 6/6 files downloading/installing it says status: Re-astablishing connection with the server (attempt 3 of 5 ).and im NOT being d/ced from the internet..someone help please?

    Sounds like your trying to install MSDN with VISUAL STUDIOS, you don't need it... If you want a rather crapy version of VS just get 2005 off of ms.com.

    Dave, I use Visual Studio 2005 Enterprise, what's your beef with 2005? 6.0 is nice, I will never, and can never deny that, but it's not a modern C++ compiler. 8.0 is.
