My guide to Killing the Infected (1st guide ever)

Hello everyone. I've been playing quarantine for awhile now and I figured I'd decide to make a guide for killing the infected. I know there are lots of guides out there for quarantine but this one is going to reflect specifically on killing the infected, not running away, killing. /yea

To begin: Basically you have to decide which route you want to take for killing the infected. Using specialists (in my opinion) is the absolute best way to kill those grimy bastards. This is what I'm going to explain about first (later on I'll tell about gp ways to kill the infected). First of all, I'm going say that Viper is obviously the best option for specialists simply because she is the fastest, and armor isn't useful at all in quarantine. Some useful specialist weapons are as follows:

-M93 Hornet
-M32 (regular and incendiary)
-Claymore (really good with mines)
-Flamethrower (only if zombie is pinned)
-Mini-gun (Pin the zombie and keep him pinned)
-Auto-Turret (Good for pinning down or making a quick get-away)

Alright since I know a lot of people here hate nexon, and don't like supporting with nx, there are some gp alternatives:

-Any machine gun (same as mini-gin, pin into a corner until dead)
-Any SMG (Mainly to help "bait" zombie, will explain in a second)
-Law and RPG (Very important if you don't have a specialist)
-Mines (Even specs need these. Probably the most important item to use)

Alright, so you've got all your gear and items, and are ready to go. The game begins. The first and most important thing is to find a spot that has a "cut-off" point. basically, you want a maximum of two entrances to where you're at. A few examples of these are: the vent on overdose, the crane area on two-towers. The second story of both houses on junk flea, the furnace room, and the showers on warhead. Basically any area with a cut-off point and only one or two entrances will work.

Once you've found your spot, it's time to set up your area. You want to put all 3 of your mines at the cut-off point. This will be the spot where you kill the zombie(s). Next, if you have claymores, you should also place that in front of the mines. Do not blow up the claymore unless the zombie survives the mines. An important thing to remember is that the claymore does not explode from mines. If you have an auto turret, you want to set it in the corner away from the mines, so you pin the zombie(s), or you can put it at the other entrance if there is one.

The final and most important step is luring the zombie(s). Basically you want to get the zombies to come to you, and hit the mines. You also want to make sure that you're not too close that the mines kill you. What you do is go a little ways away from your spot, with your smg, assault rifle, or possibly machine gun out. You want to agitate one of the zombies with a few bullets and then make him think that your just trying to escape. Once you get to your mines, pull out your law, rpg, machine gun, m32, (basically any gun or grenade launcher) and make sure the zombie(s) hit(s) the mines. He should more than likely go kaboom. If not, mow him down with your weapon and you just killed an infected. /

Once you run out of mines, make sure your rpg/law, machine gun, and other weapons are re-loaded. You're going to lure a zombie once again, and pin him down with a lot of machine gun fire, swap to your smg/assault rifle and pin with that, and or hit with your rpg/law. You should be able to kill multiple infected per round if done right.

Very informative.

however, i've had hornets before.. they dont do shit to zombies.

just use OPK FTW. jk

Once i saw the bullets of spec weapons, i was disappointed.
nice job though buddy. AVGN seemed to like it, so i believe his word.
Hope other spec users should see this.

i read all the thing its really cool i think it should be stickyed so it is a 1st tutorial on zombies.. plus it`s really understandeble so every one can understand and yeah Clymores Save a lot
