    Exclamation Anyone else got hacked?

Well not long ago maybe about 4-6 hours ago i got hacked.. Pop ups of messages came up the hacker was communicating to me saying to delete this and that and threating to delete my system32 something like that. So i did a factory reboot on my PC, and now no signs of him or his messages. He was controlling my PC and attempting to unstall things on my computer... So i plugged out the Ethernet Cable and turned my pc off. Ran Safe Mode, did the factory reboot and seemed to be fine for now. Could anyone let me know whats going on? The last thing i downloaded was Counter Strike Source Non Steam could'nt be the game must be from visiting sites. Was on google searching up how to play Counter Strike and the hacker first appeared saying ******!!! Go pay $10 for the real game LOOOOOOOOOOL his messages and more,

Notice: I noticed other users on this site has been hacked just like me!!
Im running a OS Windows 7 64-bit no protection what so ever but a windows defender which did nothing against this hacker so i got a trial of Norton for 2 months i hope i could find somthing that would protect me quick after the trial and hope it wont slow down my computer thats why i dont have protection in the first place. I learned my lesson

1st mistake... never use norton, its like one of the worst to use cuz some viruses turn norton into the virus and wont be detected. use avira and malwarebytes they both have free editions. oh and yes i can tell you that you had a trojan on your computer that you could have gotten anywhere. anything you downloaded that wasnt from a well known source (such as a person who has a steam crack/hack) is at high risk for having a trojan in it.

lol yea advertisements mean nothing.. i create viruses myself and i know for a fact that the first ones to catch it are avira and malwarebytes due to their ability to discover brand new 0day malware on the spot by certain program characteristics

Use AVIRA/AVAST/AVG - Almost everything else is $hit
Also Update your Plugins (Java,Flash) and your browser to prevent browser attacks
USE Adblock PLUS to remove ads (including those malicious ones)

I Build Custom Gaming Systems.... I would recommend you get AVG Internet Security 9.0 which is far greater, because it has so much features & it also gives you added protection when using Firefox, cause it installs it's own toolbar for added protection when browsing the Internet... Adblock Plus is a great add-on for Firefox also cause it blocks all of the smut you get on the net... TuneUp Utilities 2010 v9.0.4400 is good for cleaning up most unwanted files, temp files, etc and it helps to control start-up programs...

Yea but on the other hand, how often do you face 0day malware? And if you get caught by hereustics you are doing it wrong, my 0days are most of the time never detected. You just have to avoid suspicious behaviour. Most antivirusscanners are equal, signatures are more important than heurestics for the average user.

    I currently run three AV's

Webroot, Avast! Pro, and Advanced system care pro as a back up if the other two fail.

    I only pay for Webroot
Game Center (iPad 2): IamN00bz add me
Mob code (Itouch): NWD5V8 add me
World War (Itouch): UYMK9J add me

I don't care who you are or what you've done. You have to earn respect.

lol yea except for the fact that the "suspicious behavior" is harder to avoid with different programs... make something do bad without acting bad is not as easy as it seems... it keeps hackers working harder for their stuff to work xD otherwise without heuristics it would be very very easy to continually make 0day and have it work... with my 0day malware i always test it on virustotal but i run extra heuristics analysis' on it so that i may know that it will be FUD for awhile... the real to trick to keeping one FUD is by NEVER releasing it, only spreading it to a handful of victims, and hope nobody makes one similar xD

You got Remote Administration Tool, congrats :P

Next time don't download everything you find and use Avira as antivirus :P
