i want to buy another CDKEY for COD MW2 for backup
now my Q is if i have mods and hacks for my other acc if i dont turn them on i will not get banned from my aother account right?


i know its a dumb Q but i want to know for 100% sure that im not wasting my money....

Just dont hack on your new account, Delete anything you think that would get you banned

No they cannot. Steam bans engine. You could have the world hacking center on your computer and they can't do shit / wouldn't know. You are safe
(the reason behind this is for example if you go to a friends house and log into your account on his comp to like show him something or i dunno, steam won't ban that account for having hacks on that computer.. see what I mean? they can't do that because of the variables involved.)

Wait, make sure you don't have edited iw4mp.Exe in your mw2 folder, if you do delete it and go to steam libary, right click on mw2, properties, local files, verify integrity of game cache. DO THIS ON YOUR BANNED ACCOUNT, then steam will redownload the files for you.

Oh yeah that is something we all skipped over. I'll follow up, if you have edited your directory in any way revert it to normal. That could cause a ban
