Sams teach yourself C++ in 1 hour a day. 29 lessons. I go through about 2-3 a day. Already on chapter 10 after 4 days. Great book.

    Practical C++ programming is my old book, its great, but the excersises arent the easiest to comprehend, And require other knowledge. Doesnt go into depth about STL (standard Template library) though

    "Write a function that takes a string and returns Primitivate hash code"
    The book didnt even go over the stuff.

    Good book though, easy to understand lessons

    Videos suck for learning. Reading is much better, you don't have to rewind the video every time you miss something.

    The problem with videos is they dont explain why something does something. They just tell you, and you dont know you just remember

    Also when he did the
int main(void)
Thats C style?..

    And used 3 lines of code when he couldve just used
cin >> dnumber1 >> dnumber2 >> dnumber3;
Basically, a walk through for copy and pasting.

    @Tailz, it's too have a better understanding. Also, I believe the void in there means there's no parameters, you can just leave it empty.. same thing.
