do I have to edit the notpad thing for it to work??

Cuz when I put the code In I can run the updater on crossfire but It freezes al lthe time so I cant play...
And VM tools stops working...

You can open as many as your computer can handle.

You must edit the notepad in order for CF to open on the VM.

Ok, this worked for me... but for only one time. Now whenever I try to open my Virtual Machine Windows XP I always get this "line 83: Syntax error." I've followed this tutorial step by step. Help anyone?

I keep getting the "Sorry, this application cannot run under a Virtual Machine" Even though I added the extra codes into the file. (I am sure that I did not edit the wrong files) Help please?

Not to sound like a dick, but did you try that code you posted? When I add that code I can't even start up XP VM. I either get a dictionary problem or line 83: Syntax error, but when I remove the code everything's perfect... I just can't play CF. Which is the whole point of this tutorial.

I honestly would not have the patience to complete tutorial like this, screen-shotting 25 images and uploading them all and getting them in the right order.

Coming from a picky prick who rarely likes anything, good tutorial!

If anyone finds a way to not know how to do this with all the steps it included and good instructions, I will come to your house and beat you with a baseball bat until you seemingly get some sense into your head.
