got it, this happened ever since i got that steam api .dll thing from hahaz post, i put it on, opened mw2, got the error, got my backup and now my mw2 is fucked

did u make a backup for steam api.dll so that u can try and replace it with the original to see if it fix's anything

If you would just follow the instructional video then it will work but some people can't even follow a video. It's on aIW's official website for god sakes.

jus sort out that aIW stuffs from the original mw2 things. Jus dl the patch, let it update and yer set

i made a help thread, doesn't mean i'm dumb, i've done the patch, i downloaded a build from the website, it worked for a while, then it stopped, i re d/led the patch and it worked, then same problem, i tried everything, but nothing works, "Insane" fuck off, ur no help, you dont understand.

reinstall everything from alter again? besides dlc, thats too much of a pain

If it didn't work, it wouldn't be there. You're probally just to lazy to follow all instructions which incude downloading a 11 gb torrent, that some people don't feel like doing. And when we say re-intsall do it.
