To tell you the truth Modeling isn't really hard but you gotta admit he's pretty good but He use Google Sketchup which is a very basic 3D program but I use 3DS max 2011 which is very complicated and hard and yes i got the tools to make Combat arms gun

EDIT his model isn't Good lol it's too flat like Fritz said just take off the texture and that model will look so crappy

Anyone can do this. You just need a ton of patience and time to play around with things and learn from it.

He did a good job, it isn't too block as it should be low poly to reduce lag and problems with lag. Some parts need additional work, but good job all together.
