How to change gun fire sounds!
How to change gun fire sounds!
So this tutorial will show you how to change the sounds EX:One guns Shooting sound changed to another guns shooting sound.
You need a something like rez injecter and a rez extractor ( i have one at the bottom )
Step 1 - Open up the extractor And Press file->Open To Extract, then go to your Combat arms folder and Then click the Folder named "Game"
There you will see the alot of rez files.
Step 2 - Scroll down untill you see a list of of rez that say GUNS_SND
Then after you found them seslect the type of gun you want the sound from
Like for example Assualt rifle, Sniper, Knife etc. Then click open.
( i will be using Sniper)

Then you will see the program doing its work

Step 3 - Go back into your combat arms folder->Game And you will find a new folder Named GUNS_SND (whatever file you chose)
So now You will see a list of all the weapons in that category,
Step 4 - Ok so now that you have that done open the injector
And (this Part you will have to read carefully!) So press open the ...
and Go into your combat arms folder ->Game then FIND the Guns_SND and select The GUNS_SND that matches Whatever weapon you want the new sound to be as. (Example, you want a Rocket sound to your Deagle pistol So you Pick GUNS_SND_Pistol) Then click Open
Step 5 - On the injector Click ADD and go back into the combat arms folder ->Game then into the new folder the extractor just made ->Into the gun/weapon folder you want the gun sound for another gun (ex ->Knife Slashing sound to M107 Sniper shot sound! Yes this really works! And gets really annoying)So find the FIRE sound file of the weapon and click open
STEP 5 - OK THIS PART WILL BE CONFUSING SO READ CAREFULLY
When you press open it will say duplicate and click here to resolve
Click on the CLICK HERE TO RESOLVE And it will show the list of weapons you want to transfer the sound to. Click the weapon you choose (I am changing the m107 gun shot To the m9 knife so that every time i knife i would hear the gun shot of the m107)

Step 6 - Press inject And when its done GO BACK INTO YOUR COMBAT ARMS FOLDER ->Game and scroll down to the GUNS_SND again And you will see a duplicate (It will have rezNEW At the end of it) Just delete the old one and rename the rezNEW into rez and your set!
