My entire desktop is GONE :S... please help

Hey guys, I turned on my computer some minutes ago, and I noticed the deskop, start menu, EVERYTHING was gone...I could only see the desktop image... I couldn't even be posting this if it wasn't for a just in time pop-up, Lol :S... well anyway, someone knows a way to fix this? This is very weird, I cant do anything, cant access anything... well, I hope you can help :/ ...thanks... Please reply, If this "pop-up" disappears, I'm hopeless

Ctrl+Alt+Delete and see if you can find the task in the task manager

Sounds like Explorer is closed:
Ctrl+Alt+Delete
New Task (Run...)
Type in: "explorer.exe"

NO, explorer was running, I tried that OF COURSE

... Well but it's fixed now, thanks anyway, I had to do a much more complicated thing...believe me

. lol, dont ask me what it is, I dont know how to describe it...

Man, dont you even say that kidding!!!... I did the stuff you said before you did post it, that is like the basic... and I didn't find out by myself, my neighbour had same problem and he helped me...

i uninstalled explorer once cause it was always crashing my computer.... oh what a mistake that was...
