Actually, there is something they could do that would make it impossible to mod without also hacking (making the whole idea of mods useless). I will not go into any details because of nexon spies.

i've done it countless times, and i even use the method myself when i release mods. check my rez file in the l96a1 to sickle mod i made. its unrezextractable
