Numbness
Like a flame withering away to nothing,
All seems colorless, tasteless, I cannot find joy in something.
Where did you go bright spark,
Now my life seems so dark,
Art seems meaningless, words describe blank spaces,
I see nothing but grey skies and blurred faces.
Gone are the days when sun shined brightly,
When everything was new and the world was so sprightly
.Now days drag on by, leaving behind time I will not gain back,
So what can I do to bring forth the joys when all is black.
My mind is numb and powerless,
My heart says fight on and progress.
But how can I my dear heart, how can I all these sorrows digest,
When your pulse beats so softly, almost numb and dead in my chest.
So now I must pray to anything watching out there,
Let my heart fly free again, because this numbness I cannot bear.

Liz girl you got some skill in poetry.. seen your older ones.. interesting, why not to admit it.
Thank you, I stopped writing for a while, or doing anything artistic really. This is a summary of that basically.
