Please note that your graphics card isn't the only thing that makes your games run smoothly.

Crysis isn't new. Release date was Nov 13, 2007.
Depends what game it is, BFBC2 being a CPU dependent game has high min. sys requirements:

    Code:
    Minimum:

    OS: Windows XP
    Processor: Core 2 Duo @ 2.0GHz
    Memory: 2GB
Graphics: 256 MB Video Card (GeForce 7800 GT / ATI X1900)
    DirectX®: DirectX 9, 10, and 11 support
    Hard Drive: 15 GB

    Recommended:

OS: Windows Vista or Windows 7
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad or higher
    Memory: 2GB
Graphics: 512 MB Video Card (GeForce GTX 260/ ATI Radeon 4870)
Controller Support: Support for Logitech G15 and G19 keyboard LCDs in multiplayer
    MW2 however :

    Code:
OS: Microsoft Windows XP or Windows Vista (Windows 95/98/ME/2000 are unsupported)
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 3.2 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 3200+ processor or better supported
    Memory: 1 GB RAM
Graphics: 256 MB NVIDIA GeForce 6600GT or better or ATI Radeon 1600XT or better
    DirectX®: Microsoft DirectX(R) 9.0c
Hard Drive: 12GB of free hard drive space
Sound: 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card
Internet: Broadband connection and service required for Multiplayer Connectivity. Internet Connection required for activation.
Co-op/Multiplayer Hosting: To host Co-op or MP matches, a 2Ghz dual-core or better processor is recommended.
Some games are GPU dependent and others are CPU dependent, MW2 may run good with a 9500GT but what about processor? I doubt a 9500GT could run AAx4, Spec Mapping, MAX Detail, DoF and Shadows.

Can you just buy fans for GFX cards? My fan is going out and I don't feel like buying a new card.

I had the GMA in the i3 chip at one point. COD4 single player went 20 fps at the absolute lowest settings - and that gma is a tier below. I doubt MW2 would get spectacular FPS on that either.

The 9500 GT, it may run fine at a higher res - but does it mean a constant 60 FPS? I don't think it could really do that.
