I prefer the Playstation 3.
Reasons:

It's tougher, doesn't get stupid RROD in less than a few months.
Has good hardware and a good OS
Fast updates, everything's neat and clean.
Has a web-browser
Can be connected both wireless and wired to an internet connection
Like a living room computer that's meant for gaming.
The controller is both wired and wireless, won't have a hard time finding a cable in the case you lost it because it's HDMI / USB whatever.
No cheap disc tray
it has a sleek shape
You don't have to pay for online gaming membership
Headsets are more versatile, you can use many types of headsets
Controller is more comfortable
Better quality games

only reason i dislike the Ps3 is the Friends List menu, the time it takes to open the menu's , and that it doesn't have the Halo Series

reason why I like xbox:
Halo series
The OS is near perfection although it's messy

reasons why I DEARLY HATE Xbox:
Breaks fast
Pay for online gaming
Way too many shit to pay for when you can get for free
way too many children online

I got the new Xbox 360 Slim, which eliminate alot of the problems. Tbh, 45 dollars aint alot for a year. You spend alot more on useless shit. Xbox also has better online community and if the little kids are annoying its call MUTE.

I have tried both and I got rid of my PS3 in 1 day. Graphics sucked even with HDMI, online community is so silent and makes me fall asleep, and my friends all had xbox's. /

but 1 thing that i think suck son xbox is that the controller uses batteries.
but the PS3 controller can be charged from any USB.

Another thing is that PS3 have bluray player. and thats probaly worth more than the console itself, if you
had to buy it separtly.
