I own an iMac, and I hackintoshed my other Windows desktop. Luckily for me, I have Intel processors with nVidia graphics, so I just used iBoot and MultiBeast, and later installed the needed kexts and kernels.
I wouldn't suggest trying to use AMD, simply because its buggy. Imo, if you're going to hackintosh, then I'd want to have full compatibility (or close to) in order to feel the full effect of OS X.
Windows has been dead. Always will be.
yh, by no shit like windows>mac
was talkign bout things like that
iight, thx, well, i got my i7 with nvidia too, i like it so much, that why i look for it on my alt pc too, but yet, i see its not worth taking time to result in a shitty laggy pc, ill wait to have the money, or sell my rig ofr a 5k$ and get a macbook pro with LED cinama display, but i need to sell it first
If you want no issues, keep Windows

AMD's come out with more errors
Thats what I said. OS X Snow Leopard is built around Intel's Core 2 and new i3,5,7 series processors. All others aren't fully compatible, and normally fuck up, thats what I suggested not even trying. Luckily, my second desktop has Core 2 Duo inside, with an older nVidia, but the compatibility is still is decent condition.
I'm not bagging on intel but more people build computers with AMD processors, and intel is commercialized to the point you are paying more for the name when you buy an intel processor.
6 core intels are like $1000, 6 core AMDs are like $300. Difference? 32/45nm tech, and maybe cache size. which isn't even that significant considering there are only a handful of intels that have use 32nm transistors, or have more cache than AMDs.
