[Discussion] More traffic.

Alright, we still need more traffic. Right at the moment the staff is only interested in helping if we can get more interest. Do you guys have any ideas on how to get more traffic? Post it here.

By the way, this is just ideas, no spam.

Right now i think we should:
-keep making MPGH animation sigs
-promote our contests more and think of prizes

The next contest will be much more organized. This previous one was more of a pilot. What will change:

-I will make sure all threads are correct, stickied as needed, and actually have the polls before I submit them... (lol, my bad /)
-I'm thinking about buying a month of VIP and that could be first prize.
-Working on a way to tell if someone actually made the model/animation.. I'm currently using TinEye, but that only works up to a point.

Also, I'm thinking about making like a collaboration thing. Everyone can submit a bunch of models, and I can edit it into like a 3DMA Montage sort of thing. Or to create more involvement, one of you guys could edit it together if your good at it.

I just want something big to promote it. Not a bunch of little things. Little things are also good to have, don't get me wrong. I think making the animations are a wonderful idea! I just want something really big as well.

A hardcore animation might bring a lot people in, but that's a real project :/
I can do short stuff easy, but if it's more than a few minutes long it completely overloads my computer

I like the idea of a joint team. Actually, I love it. What if, hear me out for a sec. What if we take the best animators and make a like a weekly/biweekly animations series. And for modelers maybe create an epic, vast world, really detailed, and full.

That sounds like a great idea! A story to check back on often would be a perfect way to get people coming back!
(A little bit of awesome landscaping wouldn't hurt either! )

Ideas, just for you, just for now
-VIP for contest, and like with the SOTW, advertise it on other sections(officially ofc).
-Also, I still think a custom usertitle would be good
-If you made something big, send it to me, and I'll edit it with AE/Sony Vegas(Depends what I need), add sounds, and share it on General.
-Free model releases would surely be cool
-Tutorials FTW
-Get some famous people here
-Share programs
-And of course do what CrustyObama did with the advertising in his sig.(I suggest everyone posts/updates the same image, so people will realise it's a big thing
-And do what Jack did with the fake hack messages in his sig
