its sad...u can drop 8 grand on a PC but only spend 400 bucks on an xbox and the xbox is still better haha

it probably wasn't real. I've searched myself.
With the new dashboard, it checks your hardware to see if its actual certified MS issued parts. If it doesn't pass the check, it bricks your console, and you're left with a box. Literally.

which is bullshit...they should just block your live gold so you cant compete online...you payed for the xbox its yours you should be allowed to modify it in ways you see fit.
