Go to your Steam library, right click MW2 Multiplayer, click properties, Verify Game Cache then it'll erase ALL mods.

Personally, I'm gonna keep my mods on and VAC can ban me for all I care. If they're stupid enough to... I mean srsly, who cares about a colored gun... They fail enough banning the aimbotters anyways. Focus on them.

I don't think it's much to worry about, unless the skin you have has hacks in it.

The Valve Anti-Cheat system is enabled for servers displaying the Secured shield logo. Using custom skins, sounds or maps and playing multi-player mods which do not modify core .EXE and .DLL files will not result in a VAC ban

EVERYONE YOU WILL NOT GET BANNED, VAC/STEAM ARE VERY FORMAL WHEN THEY ENFORCE RULES/LAWS SUCH AS IF YOU CHEAT YOU WILL BE BANNED, ALL THEIR SAYING IS LOOK OUT FOR FILES THAT ARE DISGUISED AS SKINS/CAMO's, because in real fact they MAY BE HACK programs that edit core files once installed.
