Theres only a a handful of people saying that they got banned for using textures, when thruth is, they got banned for something else. Theres a lot of people out there using textures, myself included, and people are getting banned for everything else all the time. Textures wont get you banned.

Do you really have any idea what your talking about? youve been doing nothing but flaming over a bunch of different threads.

Only Valve games allow textures. Textures were not allowed in MW2 either in case you didn't know. But we faked the CRC to bypass the purity checks on servers so we used them anyways. But Valve has removed Skins off the list of things that are not bannable, meaning if they find out some way of detecting skins, then yes they will be bannable. So the only question is, is if they will be willing to put in enough work to try and detect skins or not.

And it is still very much in the air about whats bannable and whats not. As of right now they seem safe, but VAC delay-bans people, so if anything they are delaying it longer to net all the people who use hacks now and give them a nice ban.
