I have just about had enough of steam's shit

Steam is a pile of fucking shit, im supposed to be getting 1.79mb/s
I recently formatted my computer from that shitty VAC ban for my black ops account, my steam takes hours and hours just to update its fucken platform, it wont even log me in, it takes at least 10 minutes to get an account up and running, its just giving me the fucken shits, im ready to put my fist through my modem, but i read up and it says "steam is a pile of shit, its not your modem"
Guys any ideas ? I'm literally pulling my hair out at how frustrating Steam can be.

Correction to the second line, I am only getting 20kbps from steam, sorry, to much rage no good..

steam specifically says "in order to play online you must ensure all hacks are wiped from your computer, maybe even a format" or something along those lines..

get a better net. 1.8mb is shit in aus, you can do better.

its never done this to me before, the first time i formatted my PC it was fine,
now it wants to play up all of a sudden ?

@TC, try these troubleshooting steps.

Take a chill pill
Disable Firewall/Antivirus
Port Forward via Router or direct connect.
Reinstall Steam using Revo Uninstaller

If all else fails, don't complain at us but instead open a support ticket to the Steam tech support group.

you should post it for FML but the thing about steam is that you should try to contac them via e-mail

nubslice is about the only one to try and help. Steam may also be set in the wrong download region. Although I dont know why that would slow login down. Are you sure your still getting the full speed? Do a speed test to make sure its not your net.
