how do you shoot? holding? taping?

hello,

I was wondering how you shoot using a gun.

Some people just hold the left mousbutton all the time to shoot someone.
Others only tap tap tap for each target.

A friend of mine did pretty well when just joined CF became ace a lot. He said its better to tap tap tap unless there are many targets ina row than he holds the mousekey.

But i ve found holding it isnt always useful, i had days i ve missed a lot holding it. was using xm8 Adv. ( i think its pointless holding it with guns such as ak47 etc) sometimes i ve hit also.

how do you shoot? holding? taping? or none of these?

Too easily take out any target: Just as soon as you are about to engage someone, immediately stop all movement and press CROUCH. Then aim accurately and shoot. Works like a charm for me.

For longer range however, you need to let the gun rest. After 1-3 shots, wait for the recoil and/or cross hair to settle, and burst again.

FYI, I use Type 1 Yellow-Orange color cross hair and sometimes I use Type 3 Blue.

its called burst and spray yeah.
the point of spray is to take down multiple enemies at close range or when low hp. Usually causes missing and casual reloads, and i hate when im reload killed.
so burst /
