Catholics are not "Muslim" but follow "Islam". Muslim is like a plural mixed with teachings. learn the teachings of Islam, which in catholicism some teachings are the same.

I think you can understand it like that. You see when a person believes that there is 1 God, submits his will to God. Then by definition in arabic we call him as a Muslim. Christian is a word used to describe a worshipper of Christ. So a catholic if he worships Christ (so he's worshipping someone besides God or puts someone as God or alike God) then he's not a Muslim.

Muslim means a person who submits his will to God. So a Satanist, being a person worshipping Satan, he can not be called a Muslim for he does not worship God alone.

The jews didn't call themself to be jewish, they did not say I follow judaism. The most important of the commandments is: Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Because they worship 1 God alone by definition they are Muslim.

Personally, I think mankind took the bible the wrong way. Maybe everybody's 'God' should be personal, whilst knowing it is only created by you? All of the messages in the bible are then cast into your mind by your imagination, but people started seeing similarities in their personalities and made everybody the same.

Same thing happening today, everybody is becoming simple, and eventually everyone will be used to it.

How did Islam made up the jesus part? Can you be more specific about this? How did you come to this conclusion? In the Quran, Mary is chosen above all women.
"Behold! The angels said, 'Oh Mary! God has chosen you and purified you, chosen you above the women of all nations. Oh Mary! Worship your Lord devoutly. Prostrate yourself, and bow down (in prayer) with those who bow down'" (3:42-43).
Now if they want to get converts, why give such high credit to a Jewish woman? Then Quran would have said that the wife or daughter of Prophet Muhammad pbuh would be chosen so they can get all the arab converts. But they did not.
