Overwriting OS (Chance for you to make a little cash)

A great way is to, smash the computer with a big hammer, then you kick it on the floor (make sure you look for the hard drive) then throw the hard drive into the road and let someone drive on it so it would go better.

Ok guys so my dads company gave him a free PC, its a HP laptop, 1-2 years old and it runs fine. My dad gave it to me because he said its useless without the admin password, so me being me i cracked the admin pw within a matter of 1 hour and now have full access to the PC. I am going to sell it on Ebay but i am first going to wipe the drive and install a new OS + some free cracked software
now my question is how do i overwrite the current OS on it? Its some kind of windows XP network login(basically a normal school pc/work pc)
I have admin account but i still have never overwrote an OS and i dont want to screw it up because i don't want to lose $200 so yeah. First person to fully explain to me how to install a generic windows XP system WITH automatic updates will get $10-$20 transferred via paypal from the sale of the PC
Sorry i should have specified this: i don't have a windows XP install disk, i need a cracked version

If you put the disk in your manufacturer gave you, then it will most likely boot up so you can reformat.

Thing is, He doesn't have the disk.

Check if there is a recovery partition, that way you don't have to even bother with burning a disk and all that other bullshit, if thats the case just boot from the recovery partition and you're good. Otherwise go out and buy a blank DVD and burn any OS you want onto it and boot up with the disk drive.

Yeah im lazy tho and dont feel like driving to target, and the manufacturer didnt give me a disk...
I got it from my dad who got it from his company, only stuff i have for it is power cord/PC...

Listen to your daddy iverson. If you're too much of a ****** to go and get a dvd, find an ISO that will fit onto your flash drive and extract the files onto that and then boot from the USB device on your BIOS option list.

I just installed a cracked windows 7 onto my pc, the crack should mess with windows genuine check so you never actually have that problem. What you have to do though is install windows 7, complete all the windows updates, then go back and hide update kb971033. After you do that you run the crack and you should be good to go.
