help please

I used to have some kill sounds but i had to reinstall CF and i lost them, i found them today and put them in my C:\Program Files\Z8Games\CrossFire\rez\Snd2\english\Message folder like it said, replacing all the default noises. I went in game to try out my new sounds and i was unable to hear my gun shoot, and my knife slash, my foot steps, and in GM's i couldnt hear my breath... its like i completely deleted all sound effects... my sound effects vol was on and i was able to hear it when I died, when i got a HS, when i got multi kills, and when i threw a grenade... how do i get the rest of my sound effects back?


I want to be able to hear my gun shots, my breath in GM's, and foot steps again...


I was stupid enough to NOT make back-up files of the default noises =\
