Lithtech can be far better. Just look at the FEAR series, that's some good stuff (especially for the time of it's creation).

The whole COD series only uses DirectX9... How is that supposed to stress out a newly realeased GFX card. The only reason Black Ops is intesive is because of the poorly optimized CPU settings. A game with DirectX10 or DirectX11 should be able to show the limits of your card like FarCry 2 (DX10), Dirt 2 (DX11) or Just Cause 2 (DX11).

You should use these settings if you want to kill the shit out of your GFX on Just Cause 2:
2,560 x 1,600 4xAA 16xAF, DirectX 11, Maximum Detail

Crysis kinda wins the realism department. Metro 2033 might be more intensive, but the whole game was so damn dark it was hard to see exactly what was so great about it.
