can we put custom weapons models in game it self not a mod

can we put weapon model into the game itself not with a mod like put weapons in iw.11.iwd but it wont work if any one know a method to do that i'll be very grateful the idea is to play with a custum weapon in a non moded server thats all

i'll be VERY surprised if you can, i know its quite easy to edit sniper scopes / weapon camo's, but as for changing the weapon model itself? i'm quite sure it isn't possible but hey, i've been very wrong before.

Changing the size/shape of them is not. Changing the colors or looks of already existing ones is. You need to have a full on mod in order to use custom weapons.

Not without a full on mod. Just dropping files into the game will certainly not work either.

If you know what editor is used to create the models and IW didnt mess with the output then sure you can replace weapon models..
