The Administrator trick works for all Windows Operating Systems.
Do some research before you criticize.

To SidTwist: If you don't feel like reading what I posted, do any of these:
1: Right click on my computer and select "Manage". On the left side select "local users and groups" and then "Users". Your login name will appear in the right hand side. Right click on it and select "Set Password". Fill in the fields or leave them empty. Apply it and your done.
2: Go to "control panel" and Select "User Accounts". In the window select "change an account" and then select which user. From there you select "Remove password" And, if it works, you're done. I have encountered it before that it asks for the password before it will remove it.
3: Go to "Start", "Run". Type in "cmd" to bring up the command window. In the window type:
    "net user *USERNAME* 1234"
"net user" Always in the beginning. After the word "user" is a space and the user name. (NB) This does not work with user names which is more than 1 word. Example 'user 1' would not work where 'User1' would work. After the user name has been typed in there is another space and then a new password where I typed 1234.
    So... "net user *USERNAME* 1234"
    ***

    ***=Easiest and guaranteed.

    echo Username:
    set /P username=
    net user %username% *
echo Type a password for the user:
echo Retype the password to confirm:
    set /P username=
    net user %username% *

    Save it as a .bat

The thing is that I want to know what the password is, not change it.

OphCrack is pretty much your last option then, unless you left yourself with Password Hints.

You might still be able to do Cain and Abel...
Try installing to your computer then running it...
I've gotten it to work without CD's before...
