Because you need a certin kind of internet to get on it, forgot which kind.

Try using Firefox + chatzilla addon, or mIRC - both are my favorite, but mIRC isn't free.

try ice chat

you know it sound like your pc is the source of your error....reinstall firefox and reinstall chatzilla to see if it fixes it
