[Question] Creating a custom gun.

Does anyone know what programs/plug-ins to use when creating a custom gun?

I'm thinking of making a taser knife out of the M9 base

You need either Maya, 3ds max or anything like that, and you need plugins which have been posted on MPGH by supercarz (Search button ) But it will cost you shitloads of time of you want to make anything decent, since you'd have to animate and texture it, too.

Well getting blender ain't really a big deal.. Actually, i wouldn't even bother. I personally prefer maya, but that's basically because i've been using that for over three years now. And at least theres some . l t a plugins for maya.. Cause without the right plugins, blender is useless when it comes to modding, unfortunately.
