When VAC bans you, and when not.

Since quite many guys are asking this, here is the answer once, and for all.

VAC will ban you when:

- It detects you'r memory hacking, and/or any other abnormal game memory changes caused by user/player/client (exluding bugs of course)

VAC will NOT ban when:

- Someone reports you ingame. This system is surely only fake.

- Someone reports you to "vac" or to "valve" or any other "hack-report-site". These are fake! EVEN IF THEY HAVE VIDEO/DEMO ABOUT CLEAR HACKING, nothing happens.

- Someone says that he is VAC employee, or he knows friend who is working to VAC etc. These are lie too. It's true VAC/valve has employes, but they mostly take care of VAC, and update it.

- Or any other kind of reporting!

Word of warning!

There have been reports/rumours that you can get stats reseted by treyarch via reports, so be careful.

It's actually true that they reset ppls stats. One guy i played with, had a prestige 14 tiltes and was lvl 32(no prestige)

I think the report cheating for for the admins for the servers too look at. If you get X number of reports than the admin might ban you from his/her server. I think I'm really not sure since I don't host dedicated servers someone correct me if i'm wrong.

1. vac is automated...people wont know admins..well no one from aus will..
2. its common sense now-a-days...especially for cod.

It's not old.

Of course most of people do know this stuff. BUT new guys at hacking? They are always asking about this, and they are too lazy to search forums.

About stat resets... Never saw proof about that :/

Well i am not sure about this, but i am 90% sure answe is no. Reports are just for scaring hackerkiddies away.

Of course server admins can you from server, if their friend or player on server reports you to them
