I didn't do much, I just made this really quick to give you an idea of how your colors should be. It shouldn't always be like this, it has to match the mood or theme of your song you will sync too. The song I used (Red-Let Go) had a darker theme so I made the colors a bit more darker to match the song itself. I hope you get the basic idea.

Ahh...makes sense, I s'pose. Too bright to really convey darkness, though o.O
