i dont teeheee get a new pc
yeah idk how to do this becuase i opened .smd file in blender and it said datablock and anuter or something and then import the animination
@supercarz1991 understand this?? iam stuck on the animination importHalf-Life 2 SMD Importer For Blender
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
IMPORTANT!
Read the usage-section for a step-by-step guide to import animations.
These two scripts imports:
1. Static mesh with or without textures, and
2. Animations
from the Half-Life 2 ASCII format SMD. The scripts needs Blender 2.44 -
2.49b in order to run.
Installation
------------
Install these scripts into Blender by copying them into the directory:
<blender install dir>/.blender/scripts (At least for Windows users.)
Then restart Blender if it is running. Now, go to:
File > Import > Half Life 2 Mesh (.SMD)...
File > Import > Half Life 2 Animation (.SMD)...
Half Life 2 Mesh (.SMD)
-----------------------
Import meshes with or without textures. The two suboptions are:
1. Static mesh
2. Static mesh w/ textures
For the 2nd choice, all textures must be present in the same directory
as the SMD-file is in.
Half Life 2 Animation (.SMD)
----------------------------
The second importer imports animations. You must use the Mesh-importer
before the animation importer.
IMPORTANT! Usage IMPORTANT!
-------------------------------
In order to import a mesh and its animations, you must first import the
mesh (using the first script "Half Life 2 Mesh").
Make sure the imported mesh object and datablock name is "model", and
the imported armature object and datablock name is "armature".
Then you can import animations, one at a time, using the second script
(Half Life 2 Animation). The imported animations will appear as actions
in the action editor.
Other Notes
-----------
I don't know what is "front" in the Half-Life2 coordination system, and
my script doesn't rotate anything imported mesh or armature. Be aware
that imported models might face the wrong directions.
