This is an interesting program I found one day whilst searching the internets for something else,
it adjusts the shader/drawing filter of your monitor to be easier on your eyes.
eg. at 9:00 PM, your house is dark, and you turn on your computer screen.
Regularly, you would be blinded, but with f.lux, the shader/filter color is a light orange tinge, which makes staring at the computer screen easier on your eyes.
F.lux: software to make your life better
Before someone screams advertisement and attempts to report me for doing so, i'll post a screenshot of the actual website.
dere.
install, set your area/lighting style, poof, done.
Just let it do its work.
Here's virus scans for those who are still skeptical.

or u could just lower the brightness on ur computer
that makes a big diff but when i type it gets brighter -_- wth?
Can I see some before and after pics? I really dont see the point in downloading an application for lowering the brightness when you could just wait 45 seconds for your eyes to adjust.
windows 7 maybe its just my mind fucking with me again ah hearing voices
Umm, gimme a sec.
When I screenshot it while flux is enabled, and then disable flux, it stays the same, so I'm assuming that it does stuff with your monitor, not your actual programs and etc.
So here's a screenshot I found on the internets.
@Heartview
And it doesn't lower brightness.
If you have an android device, it's basically like the screen filter app in the market.
Frankly my monitor settings are tweaked to not be extremley bright, as its usually dark in here anyways. Plus my eyes can get used to it quick enough that I dont really mind.
Wow this is great! Thanks a lot.
Ill try it. If only I could get on my computer
What a neat little keylogger.
