Crysis 2 PAK Utility

This is just a helpful utility for those who don't know how to use QuickBMS properly to extract PAK files. Everything is straight forward and simple to use!

Note:
On the 'Inject Files' tab, on the 'Folder to inject' box you browse to the folder that contains the folder that belongs to the PAK file. Example: If I select 'Scripts.pak', I must select the folder that actually contains the 'Scripts' folder itself. Also, it's best to delete any unedited files when injecting files back in to save time. The edited files must be the same size other QuickBMS will refuse to inject the files back in.

I know how unpack/repack with quickbms but one "real" application is always better.

And right, that will help people that cant use quickbms, nice one.

Dont forget, he is one MPGH member.

He dont need to wait for approval, he is in one circle of trust.

For the two release that you want, it give 2 reason why they are not yet approved:

1 = Maybe the rules for release are note complete
or
2= The "accredited" member/admin to accept the new releases is not coming trough the crysis thread this last hours/days.

of evidence, it give only two way:

1= make yourself that you want
2= wait the release get approved. (that i do myself)

Stay be patient ...

Ps: if you ask the good person, you can have the mempatch without approval
but is at your own risk.

thanks but i know how to use QuickBMS but its useful for noobs

Is there any use for .xml files still? I tried a few things and injected them into the .pak but nothing changed in game

Scratch that I gave the default assault class an LTag... nice.

Can You Please Explain More exactly how inject?

I Extract the File German.pak and Edited the xml "text_ui_mp_messages.xml" where i deleted the part of fail lincense message.

I tryed inject followed.

the Folder Languages only = Error "The folder to inject must be the one that has the folder 'German' inside it!"

the folder German wich includes Languages folder = Same Error

The Folder blabla wich includes German\Languages = Same error

What exactly need to do?

1 thing that would be good is the file filter, can you try to include it in the next version?

I'm having some problems with the importing. So I edit the files I want and delete the files from the folder that i didn't edit, so it doesn't take 5 years. I import and then export again just to make sure everything went smoothly. Well it doesn't inside the script.pak there are only the folders that were reimported. Where am I goin wrong???
