Help with Internet

Hey MPGH.
I got a new ISP today, AT&T...

I was told I would receive 3 MB/s...
Well I'm currently downloading WoW on my new computer, and I'm receiving;
150 KB/s - 300 KB/s

I chatted w/ a online rep for about a hour, which was completely useless.

Does anyone else get this from AT&T? Because this is dumb.

At&t is a DSL provider which means they probably gave you a 3Mbit connection which explains the speeds around 300kb/s

Ikr. I had comcast, but it disconnects every 2 hours.
I had AT&T before, never had this problem.

I have the Comcast Xfinity or whatever the fuck it is. But I only use it on my laptop. I use my phones 3g hotspot Unless I want to play a game.

You do realize a majority of people in the US have speeds faster than on a T1 line. "T1 lines can carry data at a rate of 1.544 megabits per second."
