and i downloaded all patches and all, and then this sh!t happends :@

update drivers reinstall it and run the install as admin

try scanning pc

1) if you have windows 7 update your drivers from the windows update (control panel)
2)windows xp just do it by yourself....
3)reinstall it
4)run it as administrator
5)enjoy the game!

It can be because, you'r drivers are not upto-date, so update you'r drivers.
If you have win vista/7 run as administrator.
Try to change you'r system language to the language of crossfire (US)
Try to re-boot you'r computer after you downloaded the game.
