Hello !
Today I will show you how to edit 'steam_api.dll' and get your custom gamertags. So well, you have to make a backup of the file steam_api.dll before you start.
NOTE: Not every tag is editable, only those which are changed by NTA.
Now download HxD (Just Google it), and run as admin in win 7 & vista.
Open your steam_api.dll with HxD and hit Ctrl+F. Now a window will appear and you have to type in the text of your gamertag. I will search for 'Max Damage'.
Now press enter and it will get you somewhere with the text:
Now put your cursor on the letter 'M' of Max Damage, and start to type in your desired text.
NOTE: You mustn't edit the text after the '..' or it will fuck up everything.
Now after that you edited the text for me it looks like:
If you want a longer text than put it but remember! If the text that you filled in didn't fit the old text ("Max Damage"), you have to fill the area with the unneeded text with 00. Select the text and then right click->fill section...
YOU'RE DONE! Hit Ctrl+S to save the modded file and enjoy =)
