Borderlands: WillowTree and Scorpios (modded guns)

Scorpio weapontypes require hex editing of the .sav file to work properly, here is the complete process starting after you have imported from clipboard or file into willowtree all the way to having a game-bootable .sav file:






JUST SEARCH FOR 00 00 00 FF FF 00 00 00 should only find the right areas (some guns have code closer to the two FF's)




at this point you continue until you fix all your new scorpio's or also ones that were damaged by saving the file in another editor or accidentally changing the Quality or Level sliders inside Willowtree... when finished, press File > Save and close HxD and run borderlands

when you re-open the file inside willowtree, you may duplicate the gun safely without damaging the hex fixes, as long as you dont change either Quality or Level Sliders at all.
