MPGH Suggestion

So, @Dave84311 @Liz @arunforce I think you should read this.
Firstly, all haters and flammers, look away immediately!

Now, my suggestion is:
In games sections (CrossFire, Combat Arms, Minecraft...) many people make threads asking for help about a certain problem.
My idea is that the maker of a help request thread should be able to close the thread himself and in the end choose the person from the thread who helped him most (can be more than 1 person), which would finally lead the chosen person to getting +rep because many people around MPGH help alot, but many selfish people just want the answer and there's no award for the solver. Although it's only a newphags opinion, I'm sure many people (with common sense) would agree with this suggestion.

i just read a bit more. moderator privileges on own threads is a bad idea. that'd give full ability to delete posts. there's no plug-in for it.

Dave and I saw it as. they get to choose to change Help Request tag to solved, and it force closes their thread

and if you learn to read moderator privileges (which you're saying for people to have) would imply the power to delete posts from the thread.

That's exactly the problem! You said it yourself, they get thanks or rep SOMETIMES! The solver of a problem deserves a rep/thanks for every question/problem he solved.
