How do you have custom skins working in combat arms?

I need help, say i downloaded a famas skin colour, how do i add it into game. it gives me a : PV_AR_FAMAS.dtx WtF?

go to the modding section i think u need to change the file to a .dll .. idk im not good wif modding at all

Why would you want a skin change
Also, there is a small tut.

1. Rezextract the file you wanna inject to, rename the folder to w/e.rez (Delete the original file first)
2. Log in, then drag + drop the file into the folder.
3. You can use mod till next time you start CA.
4. Once you quit ca, replace the original .dtx file into that folder
5. Repeat step 2
