And let me point out to all the intentional idiots here: Catholicism is based on one man who have connections to God, one man who is holy and who speaks trough God. This man is the pope. Catholicism in difference to Christianity also does not allow SEX out of the marriage, nor that people wear condoms. A catholic needs to go to church, to be able to actually wear the title. Unlike Christianity which is a open religion and easily manipulated by society.

There are LOT of other differences, but not really valid for the argument. As all religions are different from eachother.

Catholicism is not a separate religion from Christianity. It is a form of Christianity, otherwise known as a denomination.

And about the pope, being eastern orthodox i don't think the pope is a holy man at all, just a power hungry wanker who wants to tell people what they can and can't do. The real holy leader would be like the patriarch, a hermit on a mountain.

Catholicism is just another denomination, like orthodox or methodist or baptist or anglican or any other. They have different rules and paradigms but they're all Christian.

I agree that only God knows when the end will come, so I'm not gonna put to much thought into an old guy trying do math based on many different variables that he chooses to look at to come up with a date.

Still, if someone told me that I would die in a plane crash as I'm about to board, I would be a bit afraid even though I know that planes are one of the safest forms of travel.
