[THEORY]Getting SAM Missle launcher to do damage
SAM Missle launcher is some sort of machine gun/rocketlauncher thing
it shoots rockets very rapid, but it does no damage (because the weapon doesnt exist in warrock yet, well the damage doesnt)
I think theres a way that makes it possible to make it have damage, by taking the damage way of the dc_k2 and adding it do another weapon, that could be the way you can have a sniper rifle do as much damage as a rocket
and you be able to make a machine gun shoot 1 bullet to let a vehicle explode (sam missle launcher damage)
Whatyou think, should we make such a hack or not

That would be cool...then my sniper could drop tanks and those pesky airplanes.

What you want

when you are editing the memory to unlock new weapons, you have 4 values that you change. something along the lines of:

- 008*****
- ********
- 166DF6**
- 166DF6**

there will allways be a 008*****. there will allways be two 166***** (and they will be identical except for the last two numbers, which will usually be 2 apart). and the last value, im not sure, because i had it one time where there were only 3 values. these values are most likely only on my computer, but your values will follow the same rules (2 of the same, then 1 other).

the 2 memory values (offsets) that are almost the same determine the name shown on your HUD (which means that this is where the weapon you are using is kept), and the model shown.

i am not sure what the other 2 (or 1 :S) value is. but i believe that it is one of two things, the identifier for others (i.e. you kill someone, and it shows - *yourname* then a picture of the weapon *their name*) or the identification of the ammo (i havnt tested this because i dont have anyone i could shoot to find out :S)

i think i tried this and it didnt work. warrock does a lot of server checks on weapons

or did you mean the SAM doesnt work? and i dont think they check weapons.

i think there is some sort of damage value, cause when you change weapon from rpg 7 (hi-damage) to colt (low damage) some value must say that the rpg 7 does more damage than the colt, just need to figure what value it is,

i don't think people understand me,
its the same as, if theres no internet connection a website cannot be notified of your visit

as in warrock

if you change a weapon and the information that you changed weapon isnt sent to the server, you will still have the same damage..

i just explained, i believe that the value that is for weapon damage is one of the 4 values that you have when you are finished searching.

though, the weapon damage is more than likely included in the value that specifies the weapon you are using.

well theres 1 way to find out, get the 4 values and change weapon and see if a damage packet changes
