    No. VAC = Valve Anti-Cheat
Battlefield uses Punkbuster, not VAC as a Anti Cheat Software. But you shouldn't hack in BC2. It's just too good to be mistreated

Tbh i will not hack on bf3.. I used to do so on bfbc2, but now, it gets boring playing like that.

As said above, no, you do not, VAC2 only applies to games built with the Source engine+.

@Lehsyrus not just source engine games, black ops and also mw2 are protected by VAC, but other than that you are correct.

Games made by valve are protected by VAC2 (depending on the engine, VAC as well), but MW2 is protected by punkbuster. I just tested it with my friends account, his account is vac banned and we tried playing MW2 multiplayer online with it. Works perfectly fine.

Battlefield bad company 2 has punkbuster as anticheat program. Some of the games are protected by VAC (valve anti cheat), Valve made that anti cheat for their games (and some of the others)

you must be... 8? or just skipped school?
mw2 is NOT pb protected is uses VAC ONLY
if your acc is vac banned on black ops, you can still play mw2, you only can't play mw2 online if you are banned IN MW2 WITH VAC... it doesn't have pb...
    bla bla bla
