Don't you get that the design of the IW engines is scalability. To run on as many different systems as possible. To make a video using footage that is beyond what consumers will see in-game does not make sense.

That is exactly how it will look. Just like BF3's in-game footage would look the same as someone running it on a computer with at least an i5-2500 with a GTX 560 Ti. Difference is that only people with that sort of a computer will see the same BF3 as in the video. People with a slower computer can't run it as well or with the high settings, and console players will certainly not be seeing the same BF3 as PC players. MW3 will however pretty much the same across all platform and setups, unless you have a really ghetto system.

Well obviously bf3 wouldn't look as extravagant, but it'll definitely look sexy as fuck.

Just going to go out on a limb here and say that even though it does look like crap if you're computer is as bad as you think it is, there is no way in hell you will be playing even black ops.
