Fastest Way to make a cracked minecraft server! No hamachi!
Hey guys I found this a few weeks ago and i assure you it works. Ive created my own server now and me and my friends play. Oh and this is for cracked servers. You should get a version of minecraft that auto updates cuz this is updated for 1.6.6 at the moment.
The following craftbukkit installer is made by dr.filth/some other ppl. I did not make this.
Basically its a program that has everything for server creation. Including the server files, worldedit,worldguard, everything.
First things first: Setting up your router.
Im not sure if this counts as advertising for other sites but yea.
1. Find out what kind of internet router you have. Ex: Linksys, 2wire
2. Go to portforward.com. Scroll down and find your router and click.
3. Skip the ad that comes up and scroll down and select minecraft from the list of games.
4. Follow the guide to setup your router for minecraft hosting.
Next, install the craftbukkit program. In the directory where you installed it should be a folder called Minecraftserver. Click and find plugins, open that and then open permissions. Click world and find the user.yml and open it using wordpad. The in the place of Drfilth, change it to the username you will be using in game. Save and exit.
You can see here that this is what the player's status is, like admin, moderator, or default. In the groups.yml file is where you change what commands default/moderator players can use. Under each group change default:false to true. This allows the player to build.

Now go back to the minecraftserver folder and find ops.txt. Replace the names inside with ur username. This allows complete control of the server.
In the same folder, find server.properties and open. Here are ur server's settings. Make sure ur online-mode is false. This allows you to play cracked. False=no True=yes.

Now your pretty much good! Press the start.bat file in the minecraft server folder or the desktop shortcut to startup your server. Keep the command file open.To stop ur server just type stop and press enter in the command prompt.

If your the server host use the ip of your computer to enter ur server. It found by opening command prompt in the start menu and typing ipconfig. Its the default gateway number. For other's give them your external ip. Just go on google and type "Whats my external ip?" to find out.
Extras: Go to minecraftserver folder open plugins and open essentials.jar with winrar and open config.yml with wordpad to find the list of commands and how to use them.
For how to use worldedit and its commands, go wiki it up.
